"Cong leadership issue after polls"

Expressing confidence that a non-BJP coalition would storm to power, the senior Cong leader said that the issue of leadership would be decided after the elections.

Expressing confidence that a non-BJP coalition would storm to power after the Lok Sabha polls, Senior Congress leader Kamalnath on Wednesday said the issue of leadership would be decided after the elections.

"Sonia Gandhi is the president of Congress but the issue of leadership of non-BJP coalition would be decided by the constituents after the elections," he told reporters here.

Nath, who is seeking re-election from this high-profile Lok Sabha seat, alleged that the prospects of losing the seat had forced BJP to resort to "terror tactics to intimidate voters."

The Congress leader is facing a fierce electoral battle against BJP's Prahlad Patel, the Union Minister of State for Coal.
