Congress leader Tejinder Pal Mann dies at New Delhi

Ex-Haryana minister and senior Congress leader Tejinder Pal Mann dies at New Delhi on late Sunday night. He was 75-year old. His cremation will be held at Karnal on Monday evening.

Less than a month after his wife and two relatives went missing in disaster-hit Uttarakhand, former Haryana minister Tejinder Pal Mann died following cardiac arrest, a Haryana government spokesman said here on Monday.

Mann, 75, died in New Delhi on Sunday evening. His wife Pushpa and two relatives were reported missing in Uttarakhand last month following the flash-floods and landslides. They had gone to Kedarnath shrine on a pilgrimage.

Chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda visited Mann's family in Karnal today and expressed his condolences.
