The mishap took place late last night in Nagayalanka police station premises, police said.

Ramprasad, who is with the Hyderabad bomb disposal squad suffered minor injuries on his hand and was admitted to the Vijaywada government hospital.

The Nagayalanka Police had seized 12 bombs and the police had dumped it in the station premises and the bomb squad had reached here to defuse it, he added.
