?Corporate City? plan okayed

THE STATE Government has accepted a proposal forwarded by the Bhadohi Industrial Development Authority (BIDA) to acquire 94.40 acres of land for developing a ‘Corporate City’ at Rajpura.

Land development for setting up of nearly 25 medium enterprises would commence at ‘Corporate City’ in the current financial year. According to an official Press release, the government had already released Rs 76.30 lakh for acquiring the land proposed by BIDA at Rajpura. BIDA had also decided to develop the Rajpur Commercial Project in two phases. In the first phase, a multi-storeyed complex would be constructed. In the second phase, land would be allocated for development of commercial projects in the region. Work on the entire project would commence in the current financial year, it added .
