Counselling for vacant engg seats from Sept 20

THE SECOND phase of counselling for admission to vacant engineering and architecture seats would commence from September 20. At the end of first phase of counselling on Wednesday, 1114 engineering seats and 85 architecture seats in State colleges remained vacant.

THE SECOND phase of counselling for admission to vacant engineering and architecture seats would commence from September 20. At the end of first phase of counselling on Wednesday, 1114 engineering seats and 85 architecture seats in State colleges remained vacant.

Of the engineering seats, 818 belong to the unreserved category while 40 are for the Scheduled Castes and 231 for the Scheduled Tribes.

These seats even include the dropout and cancellation seats following first phase. As per the schedule drawn by the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) authorities, the reserved category MP domicile candidates who are in PET merit list have been invited on September 20 while the unreserved category candidates with same eligibility have been called on September 21.

On September 22, seats would be opened to the 10+2 pass students with MP domicile while on September 23, vacant seats of architecture and students from outside the State with 10+2 eligibility would be entertained. A final chance would be provided to all candidates on seats available on September 29.
