A local court on Monday sentenced 25 persons allegedly belonging to Congress party to life imprisonment in a murder case.
Fourth Additional District judge convicted 25 persons of Kondreddipalle of Vemula mandal and sentenced them to life imprisonment in the murder of a district TDP leader M Chandrasekhar Reddy in 2003.

The judge acquitted seven other accused for lack of evidence in the case.
The Vemula police had filed a case against 32 persons in the murder of TDP leader who was hacked to death in 2003.
