28-year-old CPM supporter Ranjit Mahato, who was abducted by some unidentified persons yesterday from his house at Chengsole village, was found dead with bullet injuries on the village outskirts on Thursday, they said.

In another incident at Bhaumidanga village in Lalgarh, 35-year-old PCAPA member Subodh Mondal was shot dead by some unidentified gunmen when he was tilling his land, police said.
