"The state transport department has handed over 3,519 routes to private transporters and left the government employees at the mercy of contractors, who do not pay wages on time. To oppose privatisation, a joint action committee of government employees has given a call for strike in all offices and workshops," he told the media here.

The CPM leader said the state did not pay heed to the problems and demands of the labour class and made their lives miserable. "The labourers of Haryana will hold a rally in Jind on November 9. If the government does not come to their rescue by November 25, the labour organisations and employee unions will meet on November 26 to intensify the agitation," he added.
