Director general medical education Kamal Sahni said since private colleges have filed a suit in court to conduct their own entrance exam, on the basis of a decision given by the Supreme Court, those candidates who could not get the allotted seats, may come for second counselling.

“We have planned to file an expedite petition in connection with the case filed by the association of private colleges. Everything regarding admission has to be finalised before September 30, so we are also going for a second round of counselling on August 25,” Dr Sahni said.
