A dalit woman was abducted and gangraped by four persons when her husband was not present in their house at Bachan locality, police said.

Victim's husband Sunil Kumar lodged a FIR in this connection in which he alleged her wife was forcibly abducted by four persons yesterday and later raped by by them in a jungle near here, the police said.

In his report, Kumar said the perpetrators threatened her not to disclose the matter otherwise they would kill her, they said.

Police has registered a case against the unidentified persons under sections 364, 452, 376, 327, 504, 506 of IPC and Dalit Atrocity Prevention Act (DAPA).

No arrests had been made so far in this connection, they said.
