A Punjab Police team would soon travel to Mumbai to interrogate the wife of controversial encounter specialist Daya Nayak in cheating case.

An athlete couple alleged that they were cheated of Rs 60 lakh by a finance company, of which Komal Nayak is one of the directors.
The couple Madhuri Saxena and Amandeep Singh have alleged that they were cheated of their lifetime savings by Ojus Housing and Finance Private Limited on the promise of allotting them a petrol pump and have demanded a CBI probe into the matter.
Acting on the complaint, Punjab police would soon dispatch a team to Mumbai for investigations.
"A team of Punjab police will go to Mumbai shortly to inquire into the role of Komal and other directors of the company in the petrol pump scam and if her role is established, we will arrest her and bring her to Punjab," Senior Superintendent of Police Ishwar Singh said.
"We will question Komal as to why Ojus received Rs 27 lakh from Amandeep," he said adding police would also probe the role of Srinivas Naidu of Hyderabad, a close friend of Komal.
