The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Seema Maini renewed the production warrant against Dar, Md Hussain Fazili and Md Rafiq Shah to February 14 after they were found absent for a hearing on charges levelled against them by the Delhi special cell.

The accused have been charged under Sections 302 (murder), 307 (attempt to murder), 121 (waging war against Government of India), 121-A (conspiracy to wage war against Government of India) and 120-B (Criminal Conspiracy) of IPC and some provisions of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

This is the second chargesheet filed on the blasts case and the first one which has charged the accused of capital offences like 'murder' and 'waging war against the nation'.

An earlier one against Dar and two others, Ghulam Ahmed Khan and Farooq Ahmed, filed before another city court on January 21, solely dealt with their role in hawala transactions which financed the blasts and other unlawful activities.
