Depot manager suspended for harassing woman employee

Razol bus depot manager, G Satyanarayana was suspended on Saturday after a woman conductor had attempted suicide on June 17 blaming him for the extreme step, they said.

She is now undergoing treatment and recoering, they said.

Deputy Traffic Manager M V R Vara Prasad issued suspension order of Satyanarayana, saying he was found guilty after a detailed departmental enquiry into the incident.

Unions, women NGOs and political parties had organised protests demanding Satyanarayana's suspension.
