The expulsion of Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and other rebel MLAs from the JD (S) seems to be on the cards with party President HD Deve Gowda.

The veteran leader decided to take all necessary action against those who have flouted the party's principles and discipline by aligning with BJP.

"The party president will take all necessary steps including expulsion of all those who have violated the principles and discipline of the party inspite of their status and position," JD (S) spokesman and Secretary General Kunwar Danish Ali told.
