Though the Metro service is certainly a boon to reach Delhi, but getting to the Metro station has always been an issue of concern for most of us. Also, if one has to go to MG road where most of the city malls are located, we are compelled to think twice in the absence of local transport system.

The only ray of hope in such situations is an auto. But when they have to deal with foreigners, rates get automatically doubled. Further, since language is a big problem, one certainly cannot rely on the intentions of the auto driver as sometimes they are drunk.

I think a city bus service is the need of the hour because the destination is written on buses making it easier for people like us. We don't need to make inquiries about destinations. Fixed rates help us avoid arguments.
