THE NEWCOMERS should join the legal profession with firm determination to succeed, said SMA Kazmi, Advocate-General of Uttar Pradesh while addressing a programme organised by the Allahabad District Court Bar Association on the District Court premises here on Thursday.
The District Bar had organised this programme to felicitate Kazmi on his appointment as Advocate-General of UP. Overwhelmed with the warm welcome given by the District Bar, Kazmi said that he would try his best to fulfil the expectations of lawyers as he is a part of the legal community.
Recalling his days of struggle, Kazmi advised the young lawyers to be well-dressed, well-mannered and do his cases with utmost responsibility.
Lauding the legal profession as the multi-dimensional profession, Kazmi said a lawyer had to play different roles at different times, therefore, a lawyer should be a person of multi-dimensional personality. He said that lawyers should pay utmost attention to the case of his client as a client comes to him only after being disappointed from the legislature and executive.
Earlier, in his welcome speech, the president of Allahabad District Bar Vinod Chandra Dubey said that Kazmi was a down to earth man, who developed his personality with utmost devotion and sincerity. He said that Kazmi had miles to go and this was only the beginning.

{{/usCountry}}On this occasion, MLC Jay Singh Yadav, while expressing happiness over the appointment of Kazmi, promised to help the District Bar Association at his own level.
Former vice-president of District Bar Iftekhar urged Kazmi to do something worthwhile for the lawyers who are needy as it would help them to go ahead.
The programme was conducted by secretary of District Court Bar Association Sheetla Prasad Mishra.
On this occasion, a memento was given to Kazmi on behalf of District Bar Association. Others who addressed the gathering included Narbada Prasad Mishra, Gopal Das Sinha and others.
