Dollar sharply cheaper against rupee

Pound sterling closed steeply lower at Rs 77.86/89 per pound at the close of the FOREX market on Thursday.

The US Dollar ended sharply cheaper against the rupee at Rs 44.34/35 per dollar and the pound sterling closed steeply lower at Rs 77.86/89 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (FOREX) market here on Thursday.
