Don’t forget the other victims

While we mourn over the loss of a promising leader, it is equally important that we do not forget the other four people who lost their lives in the same accident.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s death is a big loss for both the state and the country (Andhra, Cong mourn their loss, September 5). It will be difficult to fill the void that his demise has created in Andhra politics. While we mourn over the loss of a promising leader, it is equally important that we do not forget the other four people who lost their lives in the same accident. The government should honour their contributions in their fields and offer assistance to their grieving families.
