Don?t take Vidisha for granted, Uma to BJP

BHARTIYA JANSHAKTI president Uma Bharti on Tuesday cautioned the BJP not to take Vidisha for granted or treat it as its den. ‘It is a constituency of clean politics, where people believed in Hindutva and Lord Rama,’ Uma Bharti said addressing a public meeting.

She warned the bureaucrats to stay away from politics and not create any problem for her party workers during the election. If they did indulge in politics they have to face the consequences, she said.

She said the BJP should not have the impression that Vidisha was their strong hold. She alleged that the BJP government in the state has become ‘a den of touts and hypocrites’ and has no concern for peoples’ grievances.

Criticising the State government she said though it claimed to be the saviour of cows, there were over 30 slaughterhouses in the state.

She criticised the Congress saying that its workers were chanting the name of Sonia Gandhi forgetting about Mahatma Gandhi.
