DPC meet to decide fate of 20 officials

FIFTEEN OFFICERS of State Administrative Service (SAS) and five of different departments who are under consideration for induction into Indian Administrative Service (IAS) are keeping their fingers crossed, as Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meetings will be conducted in next week at New Delhi.

FIFTEEN OFFICERS of State Administrative Service (SAS) and five of different departments who are under consideration for induction into Indian Administrative Service (IAS) are keeping their fingers crossed, as Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meetings will be conducted in next week at New Delhi.

According to sources, DPC for inducting five officers of SAS and one from other services is likely to be conducted on October 30. With this the long wait for over a dozen officers of the State Administrative Services (SAS) who are desperately waiting for inclusion into Indian Administrative Services may end soon.

In the proposed, DPC fate of SAS officers who are considered in the zone of consideration would be decided and five lucky officers would be inducted in the elite service along with one from other services.

SAS officers who are under consideration include Rajaram Batham, Shashi Karnawat, Kedar Sharma, Santosh Mishra, S Suhail Ali, Yogendra Sharma, N P Daheriya, Rajni Uike, Kavindra Kiyawat, M K Agrawal, Sunita Tripathi, Manohar Dubey, Renu Pant, T C Mahaor and S N Rupla.
