Tuesday morning saw a barrage of reporters and news channels waiting outside Dutt's house, the Imperial Heights. Early on Tuesdaymorning, a pundit was seen entering Dutt's house at around 7:15 am and another at around 9 am, evoking reactions that a 'pooja' is being performed.

A little later, Priya's husband, Owen, came down with his pets but avoided the media and stayed in the building premises for around twenty minutes. As the time passed, among the early visitors to meet Sanjay was Ajay Marwah, the accused who was acquitted on Monday, arrived by the court a little before 9 am.

As time went by, numerous people from the film fraternity including Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Raju Hirani, Dutt's friends Sanjay Gupta, Bunty Walia and some of the Congress Party workers like Baba Siddiqui and Baldev Khosa visited him to give support before the verdict was to be pronounced.

As the time passed, tension gloomed over everyone. Sanjay's fate was to be decided and he was nowhere to be seen till 10 am. His chances of visiting a temple or dargah on the way crashed with the thinning of the gap between his hearings and the time he left.

Last time the judge shouted at Dutt for being late. When Dutt appeared at 10:05 am, with a saffron tika on his forehead, from the main exit, there was an outburst among the media personnel waiting to catch the actor in the camera. Unlike always, he was seen without his preferred blue shirt that the actor mostly wore when going to the court.

This time, wearing a brown checked shirt and blue denim jeans, the actor wore a more relaxed look than the day before. An emotional Dutt hugged his sister and other friends waiting for him. The actor then moved in a Toyota Innova that was followed by a battery of around fifteen cars behind him.

All the way, media people ran after Sanju Baba's car, whenever it halted at any signal to get a glimpse of the actor traveling in the car. Finally, he reached the TADA court at 10:50 am. A little later, public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam also reached in tight security.

The media who were waiting for him were allowed to enter the premises only after judge PD Kode reached at 11:12 am.
