Dynamic Club, Mantralaya register victories

DYNAMIC CLUB and Mantralaya today registered wins in the inaugural match of the 7th Sanchi Trophy Cricket Tournament that began today at Old Campion Grounds. Bhopal Dugdh Sangha (BDA) has organised the tournament.

DYNAMIC CLUB and Mantralaya today registered wins in the inaugural match of the 7th Sanchi Trophy Cricket Tournament that began today at Old Campion Grounds. Bhopal Dugdh Sangha (BDA) has organised the tournament.

The first match of the tournament played between Dynamic Club and RGPV favoured bowlers. Dynamic Club’s Ali achieved the hat-trick.

After winning the toss, Dynamic Club with the help of Riyaz’s half century set 178 runs target in 25 overs. Arvind contributed important 38 runs.

Chasing the total at asking run rate of seven runs per over, RGPV failed to achieve the required run rate. The team lost all wickets for 147. Manish scored highest 66 runs. Ali scalped five wickets, including his first hat-trick by giving 25 runs.

In the second match, Mantralaya defeated GMC XI by four wickets. In reply to 128 run target, Mantralaya equaled the target for the loss of four wickets in 17 overs. Amar scored highest 39.

It is good that numbers of tournaments are being organised in the capital giving opportunity to the players. BDCA vice-president Arunesh war Singhdeo addressing the gathering expected that more tournaments would be organised in the future. BDS General Manager AK Singh and others were present on the occasion.
