An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter Scale shook Rajasmand district of Rajasthan in the wee hours this morning, Met official said here.

The tremor hit the district at 04:16 AM today, Met Official said.

However, there is no report of any loss.
"The earthquake had a magnitude of 4.8 on the Ritcher Scale with epicenter at latitude 25.2 degree North and 73.7 degree East in Rajasmand," Met Official said.
"So far, there is no report of any damage or human loss due to the tremor," police sources said.
