The Election Commission has ordered repoll in 31 polling stations spread over 20 Lok Sabha constituencies in West Bengal, Chief Electoral Officer Basudeb Bandopadhyay said on Tuesday.
He said the repolling was being ordered because of mechanical failure of EVMs, breaking of EVMs, booth capturing, and failure of presiding officers to properly identify voters.

The repolling would be held on Wednesday, he added.
