Sources said Bechan Mochi, a hardcore Naxalite, and his seven associates were held late Sunday night during a raid on their hideout at Simhari village and five country-made rifles, a pistol and several rounds of ammunition seized.

All of them were being forwarded to jail after production before a magistrate.
