Employee robbed of lakhs in Noida
A youth was robbed of Rs 3.50 lakh by bikers on Saturday afternoon from Rajni Gandha crossing in sector 20, HT reports.
A youth was robbed of Rs 3.50 lakh by bikers on Saturday afternoon from Rajni Gandha crossing in sector 20.
Station Officer of Sector 20 Jagveer Singh said, “Neetu had withdrawn Rs 3.50 lakh from Centurion Bank in sector 16. As he reached near Rajni Gandha crossing two youths on bike poured itching powder on him and they snatched the cash bag and eloped.”
Neetu works at Om Glass Company at sector 9 and had gone to bank with another staff Atul to withdraw cash for paying tax. “Atul was called back to the factory. Neetu, after waiting for Atul, had proceeded towards office in sector 9 alone when the incident took place,” said Singh.
Two more burglaries were reported. A burglary was reported by Shantanu Gupta, a resident of Bhagirathi Apartments in sector 62. Another burglary was reported by Pradeep Singh, a software engineer. He had gone abroad and the house was unoccupied. When he returned, he found the house burgled.
