Security forces are engaged in a gunbattle with militants, including a top Lashkar-e-Taeba (LeT) 'commander' holed up in a forest of Kishtwar district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Acting on a tip off that LeT 'divisional commander' Shah Din Khanday along with some militants is hiding in Kither forest belt, troops of Rastriya Rifles and police launched a cordon-and-search operation in the area on Friday, official sources said.
