An order to this effect was passed by Justice S K Tripathi on a bail application moved by Vibha who is also the wife of prime accused and BSP MLA from Auraiya, Shekhar Tiwari.

Vibha Tiwari, president of Dibiyapur Nagar Panchayat in Auraiya, has been charged with destroying the evidence in the murder case.

Manoj Kumar Gupta, the PWD engineer, was beaten to death last December by a mob allegedly led by Shekhar Tiwari.

In January this year, Vibha had moved the High Court seeking a stay on her arrest and quashing of the FIR against her.

Rejecting her petition, the Court had observed "the time may not be too far when there may be no rule of law at all as everyone may decide to take law in their own hands."
