If you want to experience the charm of the walled city, then this bicycle tour will suit your interest. This group organises three hour long cycle tours everyday. You can enjoy four different types of tours. The Shahjahan Tour takes you to the city’s famous historical monuments, their back lanes and various colourful bazaars there. With the Yamuna Tour, you can explore the Old Delhi area and the areas on the banks of river Yamuna. The Raj Tour, which is the most popular, will take you around the Central Delhi area, covering places such as Connaught Place, India Gate and the Rashtrapati Bhawan. A new tour, which is for the Nizamuddin area of the city, has been recently added. “Our tours are basically for cycle enthusiasts who love to explore the city, and this weather is ideal for it,” says Scasa, a member of Delhi Bycycle. The participants are provided with the cycles, a bottle of mineral water and snacks.

Delhi Cycling Club
This club organises free bicycle rides mostly on weekends. There are about 10 different types of tours that you can take, the most popular being the Heritage tour. The participants are taken to various monuments in the city as part of this tour. They have to bring their own bicycles with them.

Started during the Commonwealth Games, this air-conditioned bus service will take you to the most popular tourist destinations in the Capital. Starting from Baba Kharak Singh Marg in Connaught Place, this tour includes visits to historical places like Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Raj Ghat, Sajdarjung Tomb and some famous shopping areas of the city. You can register for the tour at its starting point.
Cost: Rs.300 for adults, Rs.150 for children
DTC Delhi Sight Seeing Tours
The Delhi Transport Corporation organises the Delhi Tour everyday. This seven and a half hour long tour takes the commuters to places like Red Fort, Rajghat, Birla Mandir and Qutab Minar among others. The tour starts from the DTC Office at Scindia House, picking up tourists from the Information Kiosk of Delhi Tourism at Baba Kharak Singh Marg in CP.
Cost: Rs.200 for adults, Rs.100 for children
Organised by the students of SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), this tour will help you explore North Campus. You can take three tours — Foodies Delight, College Trivia and Know The History Of Your Campus. The three hour long tour begins from SRCC campus.
