The government may have failed to motivate the corporate houses and political leaders to adopt animals, but now it's mulling over to revive the scheme.

"The scheme has gone into limbo this year as so far no one has approached the wildlife department for adopting animals in the zoo," said principal chief conservator of forest (wildlife) Ashwani Gulati.
