A father murdered his daughter and her lover in Bharatpur village of Moradabad district, an official release of the home department said in Lucknow on Tuesday.
The incident occurrred late on Monday night and the deceased have been identified as Haneef and Kulsum, it said.

Meanwhile, Haneef's father Shakoor had registered a case against Shahid and two others.
Police have arrested Shahid and are searching the other two accused.
