In a shocking incident, a father was stabbed to death by his son after a verbal dual over a minor issue in border area of RS Pura, 30 kms from Jammu, police said.

There was verbal dual between son Makhan Singh and father Bachan Singh over some minor issue in Dablar village of R S Pura border tehsil of Jammu district last night after which the irate son stabbed his father with a knife, they said.

Father was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital where he died, they said, adding that Makhan was arrested and a case has been registered against him.
