FIR lodged against SP MLA and 54 others
A case has been registered against 55 people, including a Samajwadi Party MLA, for allegedly violating the model code of conduct, police said here today.

A case has been registered against 55 people, including a Samajwadi Party MLA, for allegedly violating the model code of conduct, police said here today.
An FIR has been lodged against SP MLA Durga Prasad Yadav and his accomplices identified as Devnath Sahu, Vijay, Badri and Girdhar, besides 50 other unidentified people yesterday, they said.
The MLA and others have been accused of using loudspeakers without permission and breach of peace, police said.
