A major fire broke out in the reservation centre of the railway station here, badly damaging the facility, official sources said.

There were no casualties in the blaze which occurred on Sunday night, they said adding that it was brought under control immediately.

The loss to property is estimated to be around Rs 10 lakh, the sources said.
