"It's been very satisfactory to do it in front of my home crowd. My line and length was impeccable, I was more in control," the 22-year-old said after snaring five Indian wickets for 50 runs to restrict the visitors to only 200 in their first innings of the fourth and final Test.

Taylor, whose career has been plagued by a spate of injuries, has finally begun to come to terms with his fitness and has not broken down even once in this series.

"I am mentally and physically more stronger. I am improving all the time," he said.

He acknowledged the help of fellow paceman Corey Collymore in his development as well as advice and support he gets from former West Indian great Courtney Walsh.

"Taylor deserves the success. His stats are not all that impressive but he is an outstanding youngster. He definitely is a promising fast bowler. When he played the first Test against Sri Lanka at St Lucia, I thought very highly of him," said Lara.

Dravid said "He bowled with real pace and is a bowler who has kept improving with each and every match. His growth has been a good news for West Indian cricket."
