Five held at BIA for possessing fake passports

Five persons have been arrested for possessing fake passports at Bengaluru International Airport, immigration officials said.

Five persons have been arrested for possessing fake passports at Bengaluru International Airport, immigration officials said on Saturday.

Mohammad Nurul (42), a native of Bihar, Bilal Munsi Khan (30) (Rajasthan), Jagbar Sadiq and Stephen Raj (both Tamil Nadu), and Prasad Kumar (Mangalore) were intercepted by immigration officials at the airport when they arrived from Riyadh by Jeddah airlines last evening.

During interrogation, it was revealed that all the five were possessing fake passports which had been arranged for them by a private agent in Riyadh.

They are in custody and investigation is in progress.
