Five persons were injured when the driver of a vehicle lost control and hit them in in Mahim, Central Mumbai.

Five persons were injured when the driver of a vehicle lost control and hit them in Mumbai on Monday, police said.

The driver of a `Scorpio', who is yet to be identified, rammed the sports utility vehicle into a divider, where some persons were standing to cross the road in Mahim, Central Mumbai, they said.

The injured were taken to the Bhabha Hospital in suburban Bandra by the driver, police added.
