Five minor boys drowned in Krishna river at Prakasam barrage while bathing, police said today.

All the victims aged around 17 years, were students belonging to a local corporate college and went to Krishna river yesterday to take bath when the tragedy occurred, they said.

The victims included Syed Saleem, I Mahesh, K Satya Sujeet and Umamaheswar Rao.

Four bodies have been fished out while efforts are on to trace missing body, police said.
