Five-year-old raped in Jawaharlal Nehru Univ

The accused, a gardner identified as Hari Prasad Meena, has been arrested on the basis of the complaint.

A five-year-old daughter of a Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) employee has been sexually assaulted inside the campus.

The victim's father Ram Chander, a Grade IV employee, filed a complaint on Monday that his neighbour in Paschimabad residential complex raped his daughter on Saturday, police said.

The accused, a gardner identified as Hari Prasad Meena, has been arrested on the basis of the complaint.

Police is still awaiting a medical report of the victim.
