Considered one of the best blogs on Delhi’s street food, Eat and Dust was started in 2009 by British food writer Pamela Timms. We browsed through her site to see who she is and why you should add her blog to your ‘favourites’ list.
Her life “When I moved to Delhi from Edinburgh four years ago, I realised I’d met my match. I have spent most of my life eating, cooking or thinking about food, but compared to many Indians, I’m a lightweight.”

It discovers street food vendors and succinctly describes their food, helpfully providing a Google map to the destination as well. Another attraction are the lovely photos.
Excerpt from her latest entry (March 24)
“Yesterday, (I) saw Delhi’s first ever farmer’s market in Shanti Niketan. It was a small affair, running on Indian Standard Time (at the appointed hour there wasn’t a stallholder in sight!). But there were many eager customers. I came home with a stash of fresh veggies (including some gorgeous Swiss Chard), Brie-like cheese and a jar of guava jam.”
