Ford sales up 83% in March

Car manufacturer Ford India's sales rose 83 per cent in March at 5,929 units.

Car manufacturer Ford India said on Monday that sales rose 83 per cent in March at 5,929 units.

The company said sales rose 86 per cent in the first quarter of the current year at 14,125 units against 7,607 units in the corresponding period last year.

It said that 'Fiesta', its latest offering in the mid-size segment, has received encouraging response from the market and 15,000 units of the model had been booked.
