Foreign tourists were thrilled with their skiing experience, as the snow-capped mountains and lush beautiful valley filled them with joy.

"We are happy to get two days snowfall and I think like for months we can enjoy the mountains and snowboarding. I am a beginner, so, for me it's really difficult to go to the top but it is a good thing here in Gulmarg, you have the layers for different kind of snow-boarders and skiers," said Sarah, a skier from Australia.

"Gulmarg is quite amazing for us because of its high altitude and much steep terrain. We generally not get so much powder in Australia," said Shetter, another skier from England.

Mehmood Ahmad Shah, chief executive officer of the Gulmarg Development Authority, said that they were expecting a good number of foreign skiers as they are going to start Heli-skiing.

Jammu and Kashmir, especially Gulmarg is a well-known tourist destination for winter activities such as snow boarding, skating, sledge rides, gondola jaunts, cable car rides and snow skiing across the world.
