This Valentine’s Day, love is all about looking good. Taking a quantum leap from gifting chocolates and flowers, couples have started gifting ‘cosmetic surgeries’ to each other.

This Valentine’s Day, love is all about looking good. Taking a quantum leap from gifting chocolates and flowers, couples have started gifting ‘cosmetic surgeries’ to each other.

Cosmetic surgeons indicate a rise in queries and operations around V-Day. Dr Amit Gupta, cosmetic surgeon, says, “We get a lot of queries from college students and young working professionals regarding this.”

27-year-old Geitika Lamba, whose boyfriend gifted her a botox treatment, says, “I’m happy that he cared enough to think I wanted to look younger,” she says.

33-year-old Kamal Gupta says, “My wife gifted me a hair transplant. In the future, I may gift her a surgery, too.”

The popular gifted treatments include

* Removal of laughter lines
* Laser treatment for scars
* Breast augmentation
* Liposuction
* Male breast reduction
* Hair transplant
* Chemical peeling on face for acne
* Scar removal
