Former union minister gets bail

Former union minister Matang Singh against whom a case under domestic violence has been filed by his wife Manoranjana Singh has been granted permanent bail.

The court of the Kamrup chief judicial magistrate has granted the bail in connection with the case filed by Manoranjana on September 17 with the Paltan Bazaar police station under domestic violence act in a hearing recently.

The former union minister was also contemplating to file a divorce petition against his wife.
