Former Union Minister Kalpnath Rai's sister was allegedly found murdered at her residence in Kundesar village Ghazipur, police said on Saturday.
The body of Parvati Devi, sister of Kalpanath Rai, was found in her house by her son on Friday night. He found the body after returning from a sugar mill in the neighbouring Mau district where he was working.

Three persons, including a relative of the deceased, have been detained for questioning.
Senior officials have reached the spot and an investigation is on.
