Four infiltrators shot dead in Kupwara

The intruders were shot dead by troops of army's Seven Para regiment along the Line of Control near Lashdat.

Army troops on Tuesday foiled an infiltration bid from across the border by killing four intruders in Kupwara district.

The intruders were shot dead by troops of army's Seven Para regiment along the Line of Control near Lashdat in Machil sector, 115 kms from Srinagar, a defence spokesman said.

Four AK 47 rifles and a large quantity of ammunition and explosives were recovered from the slain infiltrators.
