Two UK nationals, who had gone for a swim at Morjim beach were carried away in the waters by the strong current, police said.

Their bodies were later fished out of the water by locals with the help of police.

While one of them was identified as Horne Stanley Williams, 70, police were still clueless about the identity of second body, a female foreigner in her mid-30s.

In a similar incident at Vagator beach, 40 kms away from Morjim, two Indian tourists drowned in the sea.
