A four-year-old boy was run over by a speeding jeep near Sonai Railway station on Mathura Aligarh road.

Following the accident, Pintoo, son of station Manager was rushed to Bagla Hospital Hathras where the doctors declared him dead.

Agitated mob thrashed the driver of the jeep, Pradeep, a resident of Dariyapur village of Hathras district, who was admitted to the hospital where his condition is stated to be serious, police said.
