The batch including over 214 sadhus left from the base camp of Bhagwati Nagar in 95 vehicles early Saturday morning, officials said.

The yatra cavalcade has crossed Kud area on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway and was expected to reach Nunwan in Pahalgam and Baltal district by Saturday evening, they said.

The yatra was suspended on Friday and scheduled batch of pilgrims were not allowed to proceed to Kashmir due to bad weather and heavy rains across the valley.

With Saturday's batch, as many as 11,943 pilgrims have left Jammu for the Amarnath shrine.

The two-month long yatra, which began on June 17, will conclude on August 16.
