“Both the Chief Ministerial candidates of BSP and SP are facing CBI probe, therefore it is impossible for them to take the reins of Chief Ministership,” Punj told mediapersons here on Thursday.

Lashing at both Maya and Mulayam he said that on the one hand BSP supremo was assuring in her election campaign that she would put SP chief and Amar Singh behind bars if her party came into power. On the other hand Mulayam Singh Yadav was seeking votes on the ground that if he did not win then he would land in jail, he said.

“Common people of Uttar Pradesh have seen the tenures of Kalyan Singh, Mayawati and Mulayam Singh Yadav as Chief Minister of whom Kalyan emerged as the best,” he said.
